Chad Petersen, CFO & Co-Founder

For the past five years, Mr. Petersen has served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for By Us, LLC, a startup company he co-founded in 2002.  Prior to this, he served in various operational and management roles for Best Buy and Musicland, specialty retailers. During his career in retail, Mr. Petersen has developed a strong background in Distribution, Finance, Inventory Control, Loss Prevention and Retail Operations. This development came from numerous years of working as a liaison between the distribution center and numerous departments within the corporate office.  In addition, he has participated in a number of corporate think tanks and subcommittees, which included a complete documentation and review of all processes and systems within the distribution center.  Mr. Petersen attended the American Institute of Banking in the mid 1990’s and has furthered his education by completing a variety of courses from the University of St. Thomas Graduate School of Business.
